Smile Together joined thousands of organisations across the UK in celebrating National Smile Month 2026, the Oral Health Foundation’s flagship campaign to improve oral health awareness and education.
This year marks a special milestone as National Smile Month celebrates its 50th anniversary. Running from 11 May to 11 June 2026, the campaign highlights the importance of good oral health and encourages people of all ages to take positive steps towards healthier smiles.
As a social enterprise committed to tackling oral health inequalities and improving access to dental care, Smile Together was proud to support the campaign across our practices and community services.
Our Keast Mews practice in Saltash welcomed members of the local community to a special National Smile Month Open Evening. Visitors enjoyed complimentary cream teas, explored the practice, met members of the team and learned more about the range of dental services available. The event also included free mouth cancer screenings and complimentary oral health gift packs for the first 50 visitors through the door.
The evening provided a fantastic opportunity for local people to meet the team, ask questions and find out more about maintaining good oral health. Those considering joining the practice were also able to take advantage of a special National Smile Month offer, with new patient examinations available for £80 and a complimentary electric toothbrush provided at their first appointment.
Throughout National Smile Month, colleagues from across Smile Together got involved by sharing their smiley selfies through our social media channels.
National Smile Month is a reminder that looking after our oral health is important at every stage of life. Regular dental visits, brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between teeth and maintaining a healthy diet can all help keep mouths healthy and smiles bright.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating National Smile Month 2026 and helping us spread smiles across our communities.
