Smile Together Dental CIC is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team on the Isle of Scilly. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a rewarding career in dental healthcare while gaining a recognised qualification.
About the Role:
As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you will work alongside experienced dental professionals, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will receive on-the-job training combined with structured learning to achieve your dental nursing qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting dentists during a variety of clinical procedures
- Preparing and maintaining dental equipment and instruments
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and infection control
- Supporting and reassuring patients before, during, and after treatment
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team
About You:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are desirable
