As CEO of Smile Together, I lead the organisation’s strategic direction while
maintaining operational oversight. On a day-to-day basis, I work alongside our
management team, and external partners to ensure we deliver high-quality,
patient-focused services across all our sites. I collaborate closely with NHS
commissioners, system partners, and the wider community to drive innovation,
improve access to care, and develop sustainable, equitable service models. From
reviewing business performance to supporting employee development and
engaging in system-wide initiatives, my focus is always on achieving the best
possible outcomes for our patients and our teams.
The most rewarding aspect of my role is working with a wide range of
teams at Smile Together. Whether it’s launching a new health initiative, improving a
service pathway, or supporting a colleague to achieve their professional goals, I take
real satisfaction in innovation that delivers a positive impact.
One of the biggest challenges within dentistry is balancing immediate
operational demands with long-term strategic planning, particularly within a
constantly evolving NHS landscape. Ensuring financial sustainability while staying
true to our clinical and social mission requires adaptability, resilience, and forward
thinking.
Before becoming CEO, I worked in both clinical and non-clinical roles across a range
of NHS Trusts and primary care settings. These experiences, in both leadership and
patient-facing positions, have shaped my approach and strengthened my
commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality care.
My career has been driven by a passion for making a difference in people’s lives
through healthcare, alongside a strong interest in public health and system
improvement. This led me to combine clinical practice with strategic leadership.
What inspires me most about working at Smile Together is our people – passionate,

Outside of work, I enjoy health and fitness, co-managing a fitness app, exploring
new cuisines, and spending quality time with family and friends.
