Teeth whitening can be a highly effective way of lightening the natural colour of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface. While it cannot change the complete colour of your teeth, it can significantly lighten the existing shade, delivering dramatic and noticeable results.

At Smile Together, you’ll begin with an initial consultation with one of our experienced dentists or dental therapists. They will assess whether you’re a suitable candidate for teeth whitening and ensure the best approach for your unique smile. During this appointment, we’ll take impressions of your teeth to create custom bleaching trays that fit snugly over your teeth. These trays hold the whitening gel in place during your treatment—ensuring the gel stays on your teeth and not your gums.

In your next appointment, your dental professional will provide you with your home bleaching kit, which includes the custom trays and whitening gel. You’ll receive full guidance and instructions on how to use your kit for the most effective results. Over the following weeks, your progress will be monitored until you’re happy with the outcome.

Please be aware that we will require a deposit when you book an appointment - this will be deducted from your bill for the relevant treatment at your next visit. We understand that things sometimes come up, so your deposit will not be affected if you alter your appointment with over 24 hours' notice. We will always be as flexible as possible with you but reserve the right to retain your deposit in case of late cancellations (any cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice) or late arrivals which result in us not being able to see you (for example, arriving c:15 minutes late for a 20-30 minute appointment). It is very difficult for us to offer care to other patients if little notice is given. Loss of opportunity to treat patients in need increases the waiting times for appointments and the cost to run the surgery. We will always try to be sensitive to personal circumstances in the event of late cancellations.
