During a dental emergency, it’s important to act quickly to get the care you need. Here’s what to do and who to contact depending on when the emergency occurs.

How do I book an emergency appointment?
If it’s during working hours, you should call the practice on 0333 405 0291 and select your location and ask for an emergency appointment. We always prioritise emergency patients and aim to offer an appointment within 24-48 hours.
When our Bodmin and Newquay practices are closed (during evenings, weekends and bank holidays) you can still be seen through our NHS Unscheduled Dental Care service, proudly commissioned by NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board. What can I expect at my private emergency appointment?
Your dentist’s priority in your emergency appointment is to get you out of pain. This is not a full dental examination.
At your appointment we will discuss your dental concern, aim to diagnose the issue, explain your treatment options and aim to carry out treatment based on that diagnosis to help manage your dental emergency.

*Where required, this includes x-rays and diagnostic tests, advice, prescriptions and temporary treatment. Please be aware that further substantive treatment options will incur an additional fee, and your dentist will discuss these options with you at your appointment. This may include, but is not limited to: Permanent filling; Extraction; Replacing crowns, veneers, dentures or bridges. If you wish to go ahead, your appointment will be booked, and a deposit of 50% will be taken upon booking (refundable if you cancel with at least 2 hours notice).
