Practice Manager for Keast Mews Dental Centre, Saltash

As Practice Manager at Keast Mews Dental Centre, our fully private, modern dental practice in Saltash, I’m responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, from managing our amazing team to making sure we’re delivering the very best in patient care. I also keep a close eye on performance and finances, helping ensure we’re meeting business goals while staying true to our values.

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is working closely with such a dedicated and supportive team. No two days are ever the same, and I really enjoy the variety and challenge that comes with supporting both patients and colleagues all while helping the practice grow and thrive.

My biggest challenge is balancing the business needs of the practice with the individual needs of our patients but that’s also what makes the role so fulfilling. It’s about creating a space where everyone feels supported, cared for, and confident in the service they’re receiving.

Before joining Smile Together, I worked as a qualified dental nurse and spent five years as Lead Nurse in an independent NHS practice. I always found myself drawn to the leadership and organisational side of the role, and it naturally led me into practice management.

I was inspired to join Smile Together because of the community work they do across Cornwall. It’s not just about dentistry here it’s about making a difference, supporting people who may not otherwise have access to care, and being part of something that genuinely gives back.

To anyone thinking about working at Smile Together, I’d say: go for it! You’ll be joining a team that cares deeply about its people, patients and the wider community and you’ll feel supported to grow, develop and make an impact from day one.

Outside of work, I love socialising with friends and family, heading off on holidays when I can, and going out for food!
