Our commitment as a certified B Corporation, recognising business as a force for good, has inspired us to better balance our social and environmental impact and consider ‘people, planet, profit’ in all that we do.
We’ve therefore been upgrading our fleet so we also have a fully electric decon/courier van. Thanks to Fuel and No2TheSame, our EV van and hybrid car are very clearly (and brightly) branded Smile Together, matching the single-surgery mobile dental unit that we acquired and rebranded in 2022.

We have installed EV charger units at our Harleigh Road Dental Centre in Bodmin where we’re also locked into a three-year green electricity deal. One is kept for the sole use of our EV van with the other available for any colleagues, visitors or patients to use for charging their electric cars whilst in the building.
Sometimes a physical meeting is the only option but whenever possible we prioritise virtual meetings in order to reduce travel.
Where possible, we also encourage the use of public transport to visit our practices, with information about bus, railway and walking distances clearly visible on each active practice location web page.
