We’re thrilled that our brand-new contemporary dental practice in the heart of Saltash opened its doors to patients as planned on Monday 27th February 2023.

As project lead Vikki Johnson-Best, Head of Operations and Commercial at Smile Together, explains: “Transforming our ambitious vision for the building into reality and simultaneously moving from our previous location on Callington Road was no mean feat. We owe a massive thanks to the team of contractors and Smile Together colleagues who helped to achieve just that – it’s been an extraordinary team effort, and I owe a special thanks to ‘my right-hand man’ Sam Greening, who has supported us with project delivery from start to finish”.

Our Saltash team of Principle Dentist Liz Winfield,  Location (Practice) Manager Hannah Rofe, Dental Therapists Jo Elmes and Kirsty Holmes, and Dental Nurses Barbara and Nikki provide high-quality, predictable dentistry that is minimally invasive, functional and beautiful. Together they bring a wealth of experience alongside a passion for exceptional patient care and an informed approach to maintaining good oral health.

They are incredibly excited about providing an even wider range of dental treatments for local people in this fabulous new patient-centric environment. Those patients who kindly attended special appointments the week prior to opening, to help us test the new environment and state-of-the-art equipment alongside the contractors who remained on site to make any final adjustments, have been impressed with our new practice and Keast Mews’ Principal Dentist Liz.

Liz is an experienced General Dental Practitioner and brings a wealth of clinical experience to Saltash. She explains: “I have a special interest in Restorative Dentistry, having undertaken extensive post-graduate training enabling me to take on the most complex of cases, and repair and restore heavily broken-down teeth and mouths, providing transformational dentistry giving patients renewed confidence in their smile. Equally I love seeing patients who, for whatever reason and for many years, have avoided the dentist but become confident in visiting me for their regular dental care”.

The contracting team for Keast Mews included TEC ConstructionMace Green building consultants, Setpoint Solutions air-conditioning experts, 3idog ltd interior design, DecaDent Ltd, Prestige Signs and Print, and Hulley and Kirkwood.

As an award-winning dental company operating as an employee-owned social enterprise and certified B Corporation across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, 100% of our profits are reinvested back into patient facilities, our people and the local community.
