At Smile Together we have a strong commitment to our ethos of “Healthier, Happier Communities” and are proud of our work in delivering dental services to people in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly who do not have their own dentist.
So we are delighted that our organisation has been chosen by Kernow Clinical Commissioning Group to treat newly-settled refugees in our region who have an urgent requirement for dental care.
Our team will extend its work in the months ahead to assist refugees who may have fled war, disaster, poverty or persecution and who are suffering from dental pain or problems.
They will also ensure that our new patients are reassured and supported throughout their treatment and receive the best care for their individual needs
Paul Critchley, Managing Director at Smile Together comments: “One of our stated aims has always been to offer flexible care for vulnerable groups .
“No-one should have to suffer the agony of dental pain and our team of professionals will take pride in ensuring that refugees under our care are assessed and cared for with compassion, respect, honesty and flexibility.
“Our aim is to help people to smile again as they embark on rebuilding their lives here in the UK.”
